....no matter how you look at it, but if this poll is giving us a picture about the Middle East conflict 2008, then the only conclusion for a "neutral" (non-Jewish/non-Arab) observer can be, that today Israel has become the "big hurdle" to peace in the ME, while the Arabs remain a "little hurdle" (still a little hurdle thanks to their extremists insisting on a full right of return).
Or in other words, the Arabs have moderated many of their positions (acceptance of 67 borders, Jerusalem etc...), while a majority of Israelis seems to have taken a turn to the extreme (expansive Zionism with the aim of establishing a "Greater Israel").
And I`m afraid in view of polls like this, no "spin" of this world can wish away that fact..... |
