| "Syria was in control of it before the war broke out on June 4, 1967." It was so because it violated int`l law by rejecting a UN resolution, declaring war, and then waging it against the existence of a sovereign nation. The old French Syrian and British Mandate border did not approach the Kinneret, it was only after Syria attacked across its own border that it gained a stretch of beach. It attacked and was eventually pushed back. It lost. It does not deserve any land close to the Kinneret. |
