| This is not the first time I have seen the argument that territory occupied in war is somehow legitimately the victor`s. This is not the approach taken in international law, which apparently talks about the "inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war". But this is not the main point, which concerns justice. The view you present is sometimes expressed as "might is right", and conflicts with the morality of all the great religions of the world. Strange to see it here. |
