| they have no need for Israel. As for licensing technology. Haven`t you heard that Russia and China casually ignore intellectual property law all the time. A realistic evaluation of Israeli weapons technology will show that it is not as advanced as Israelis think it is, especially given the enormous amounts of money Israel spends. What Stephen and many others seem to ignore is that there are no secrets any more and there is no technology that can not be reproduced fairly quickly given sufficient money. The Russians were impressed with UAV technology and do want to add some technology to their EXISTING UAV program, but once they "borrow" the Israeli technology, they will move on and abandon Israel. Yes, the Russians are scamming the Israelis to "borrow" some technology so they don`t have to waste resources re-inventing it. I never said that Israel has no "interesting technology, what I have said is that it is easy to steal or duplicate everything Israel has. |
