| someone who has nothing to lose. So Hamas has nothing at this point except many sympathizers. Mainly in regards to the blockade. Well if conventional war is the thing, have at it. But this is the scenario. Al-Qaida have according to sources, moved from Iraq into Lebanon. So my guess is that any overt move from Israel aside from targetted assassinations or taking out Quassam crews would just reignite the last Lebanon War. This time around it would be Hezbollah and Al-Qaida working together in addition to the problems in the South. Abbas isn`t ready to really take on Hamas, is he? I`m guessing, despite what has taken place he`d close ranks with Hamas. That is the nature of the threat right now. I guess Hamas has figured this out and is betting they can manipulate Israel until Israel is totally compromised. Can Israel take on both Al-Qaida and Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza, at this point in time. Nah. Don`t let Hamas trick you into a trap where they have an advantage. |
