You forget that Judaism is a religion with a set of values that the Secular parties often leave behind. If, letting the disabled, the unemployed, and other sectors of society with fewer benefits saves money, well . . . you cut the budgets. Religious parties don`t agree with that neo-Liberal ethic.
They tried Workfare. It was a disaster. The Secular parties were in denial until the Religious parties forced the issue, and persuaded the government that people who reached sixty-two years old should have to spend their days in Workfare center looking at the walls in order to earn their daily bread.
So dude, cut the rave, and remember religious parties are not for Sabbat and Chagim, they care very much for the people of Israel, especually the ones that the Secularist parties have neglected. |
