1. An entire predominantly Greek city in Cyprus ? Famagusta ? has been empty and in decay since 1974 Turkish invasion. Turks are encouraged to move to the Turkish controlled northern Cyprus. However I do not see you posting in Turkish papers such as Hurriyet, Milliyet, Sabah etc. protesting them.
2. Many Jews who hold titles of many properties In Arab countries such as Iraq, Egypt, and Yemen etc. also can no longer get back their property. In fact even in Turkey my family lost many properties including a big building at Bankalar Street in Istanbul in 1941 due to the unjust tax [Varlik Vergisi] . Let?s call this a wash for the sake of peace.
3. The records to the titles for Palestine are in the Turkish archives. Israel requested them and they received it. It is interesting to know that Arabs never inquired them and they refuse to use these records to make any claims or in negotiations. I wonder why. |
