| Who wants to end the cease fire? Clearly the Hamas old guard in Damascus wants to end it. But then they have consistently opposed the Hamas leadership in Gaza for a year or more. Clearly the Israeli right wants an end to the cease fire. They have nothing to gain from a cease fire, and were that cease fire become a habit, they would have no future in Israel. There are also many splinter terrorists groups in Gaza that see ending the cease fire as the only way to defeat their enemies which are Israel and Hamas. In the end the question is who does not want to end the cease fire? The answer is those in Israel and Palestine that simply wish to live their lives in peace. And they do not matter to either `side`. |
