| we `ve been hearing and reading this theory about internal divisions in hamas for years now. first it was syria-backed meshaal vs moderates in gaza. then some said that meshaal was the one pushing for a truce, the one who wanted dialogue with abbas and concessions while zahar and leaders in gaza were hardliners who wanted war. after what meshaal said about calm, journalists started writing different things. now we are back to what was being written some two years ago. now it is again meshaal and jabari vs pragmatists in gaza. in fact, meshaal may change his mind. everybody knows it. maybe it is just tactics. but come on now. there were no talks no nothing. but something has to be done about the blockade first. just renew the existing agreement? no way. why do it? there will be no formal truce unless they end the blockade |
