| So, your idea of a "calmer" Middle East is to have a "balance" of constant war between Shia and Sunni? That was the Reagan doctrine. It was Reagan and Alexander Haig who built up Saddam Hussein for that very purpose. Then Saddam got off of his leash. Bush Jr. merely cleaned up a US-created mess, as Tony Blair stated on several occasions. But don`t worry. One way or another, Iran will go too far and then they will get regime change also. THEN there will be "balance". |
