Would I ask a person, who cannot drive, give me a lift? Would I donate money to a person, who has an alcohol problem or is on drugs?
The intl.community does just that! It negotiates with people, who are no competent politicians (since they lack appropriate education) and it donates money to leaders, who are corrupted .... like Arafat was. Have the Pal-leaders changed since?
Only when negotiations take place betw. two EQUALS (equally intelligent, equally educated and with similar values, like Churchill and Roosevelt for ex.) can talks bear fruit. Likewise: first when we give RESPONSIBLY to a moral leader, who will indeed use the money for its intended purpose, instead of depositing it in his personal Swiss account(like Arafat), we can actually see any desired result in the situation.
IF we SERIOUSLY strive for peace and for a better world EVERYwhere, standards for quality must be required from the politicians, else we will remain stuck in the mud forever and things get worse. |
