I find most Buddhist sayings a bit obscure but there is truth in that one.
Painkillers are just killers and I believe add no value in the Gaza situation.
It is sad that our fellow human beings are oppressed in Gaza. The oppression has been caused by the Hamas terrorist regime and our reaction to this regime.
To say that there was never a Palestinian country is not true. There was a Palestinian country, the country of the Philistines with Gaza as a main city. The name Palestine is merely a Roman form of Philistine.
The Gazans should be given a chance to have a referendum for a city state with peace with Israel or the status quo. If I lived in Gaza, I would vote for the city state.
The dream of a greater Palestine is the wrong medicine. The Gazans should go for the real medicine, recognition of Israel, cessation of hostilities, release of Shalit and peace with Israel.
