When has Israel ever complied with a single UN resolution?
It`s founders were happy when the GA gave it`s non-binding resolution on partition, but even then - and for good reasons - Israel did not comply.
The UN is what it was set up to be. An organization which would give the world a feeling of participation without compromising the ascendancy of the powers who won WW II.
What pressure is there in an organization Israel has always treated with total contempt and who can do nothing that the US would veto/
