Mr Carter is attempting to talk with *all* parties to arrange for the Carter Centre to monitor upcoming Lebanese elections. That was his motivation for contact with Hizbullah. You really need to stop the knee-jerk reactions and start reading these articles more carefully. (Yes, I know I`m lecturing you. You need it this time.)
The Centre has a good track record monitoring elections for fraud or other undemocratic practices. Hizbullah doesn`t want to discuss it - big surprise, the bloody cheats - which doesn`t make the Hizbullah bullies look any better to anyone.
