| something negative about the outgoing administration as well as about those the arab world doesn`t like in the incoming one. ("a jew w/ties to israel as white house chief of staff? you see, the jews are already in control of the next white house..") if he had some real guts & courage in him carter would also tell them another part of the story. that to expect ANY US administration to impose a solution on the ME isn`t very realistic & that the main task of it will still be left to the conflicting parties. plus that the US support israel enjoys is only a fair counterweight to the support & bias, for sure, from the whole arab /muslim world, the UN, russia & europe that the pals do enjoy & have been enjoying for years & years. it would be honest to admit that when arabs complain about the US being a biased ME broker, what they really mean is that the US should be biased in their favour instead of israel`s. it`s not really an honest & fair broker they`re thinking of. |
