But honestly, from a legal point of view, that doesn`t make it anymore "humane" than what Hamas is doing with Gilad Shalit.
The true democracies of this world (states of law) are distinguishing themselves from the "not so true ones" by respecting the principle of "INNOCENT TILL PROVEN GUILTY".
Unfortunately the terms "occupying force" and "state of law" are absolutely incompatible. |
