| Unless and untill the world begins to hold the US to the standard of being "a city on a hill" or France to "liberty, equality and fraternity" or Saudi Arabia to "The Guardian`s of the true faith of peace" perhaps we can start by comparing Israel to the nations of the world? A vibrant pluralist democracy, besiged for 60 years by violent authoritarian states and terrorists bent on its destruction it would rank quite well indeed.... |
