| But that does not mean they are stupid guys. They are VERY adept at coping with Israeli tactics, and are very competent at making use of Israel`s continual mistakes to benefit themselves. From the Palestinian perspective Hamas`s hands are clean. The attacks are coming from bit players, rivals of Hamas. The attacks are justified to Palestinians because Israel refused to lift the blockade after they had complied with the cease fire, and because Israel broke the cease fire. So why should we care what Palestinians believe? Because there are 1.5 million of them in Gaza and in rocket range of Israel. Because sooner or later they will start building rockets with better Specific Impulse and Mass Ratios. And they will take revenge upon their tormentors as far away as Tel Aviv instead of just Sderot and Ashkelon. Over 40 years of occupation has taught Israel little and the Palestinians much. What is the objective of Israel? Why repeat endlessly what has failed? |
