| Well it is indeed an unfortunate incident. It is unfortunate that the journalist attacked had entered a closed military zone clearly hindering and interfering in the duties of the soldiers in question. It is unfortunate that the soldier took out his frustrations on the journalist instead of what should have been done that is arrest of the journalist in question confiscation of all equipment interrogation and trial. Well what should have been done is not possible here because the commanders and top brass in the IDF instead of giving full backing to the soldiers on the front line; are behaving like self centered media frenzied politicians surrounded by legal advisors who are seeking to cover there own behinds. |
