Well, and that 190-240 they left roaming around without arresting them. One must assume at least some of them, young outsiders mostly, were involved in the further unrest.
This is kind of akin to being in the riots of the early and mid to late 60`s in the US.
There`s a sea change happening.
Or not.
Either Israel finishes the job and "disengages" from ALL illegally occupied territory, or it annexes the territories and accepts all those friendly Palestinians...
In the United States, we opted for equal rights, it remains to be seen what Israel will finally aspire to with a constitution more than sixty years late.
Right now Israel`s just a nuclear weapons (undeclared of course) packing rogue state in the Middle East that feels it can for decades ignore international law.
I`m pretty sure that`s about to come to an end, for good or ill, and I sure wish it was Israel that made the peace first. |
