| "Syria has given Turkish mediators its responses to Israel`s security questions, but has asked that the document not be transferred until Jerusalem delivers its responses to Damascus` own queries." How can anyone complain about that? Syria has deposited its statement with the "honest broker", and Assad is within his rights to tell the Turks not to hand it over until the Israelis deposit their quid pro quo. Come on, Israel... cat got your tongue? It`s not as if you don`t know what he wants i.e. he wants you guys to reaffirm the "Rabin Pocket". Which can`t be so hard, considering that Peres, Bibbi, and Barak all did so when they were Prime Minister.... |
