| We have one vote. Since security is such a vital and contentious issue, most Israeli`s cast their vote to the party that they feel can most likely avoid war. Social issues, although important, are seen as secondary to survival. The politicians who may be good at figuring our how to out-manouver Arab states or American pressure are not the ones that should be dealing with important issues like education and the environment. We really need two Knessets. |
