| Here in the UK the Conservative Party lost several very talented leaders because they did not come over well in the media, mainly television. Experts say Kennedy defeated Nixon because Kennedy was better looking and Nixon`s designer stubble [five o-clock shadow in those days] made him look suspicious! Being talented, honest and good are no longer the major factors. The media no doubt also hurt McCain. |
