| It always comes back to "my god is bigger than your god." This is the root of past conflicts and it very much is the taproot of the present conflict generated over Israel`s various illegal occupations. The faux dream of an Eretz Israel is a fantasy. In the real world, there is no invisible skydaddy handing out land grants. Israel is entitled to the land as set out in 181, and the international community and the Arab world are prepared to accept and recognize the `67 borders. Israel should take the fair deal and opt for peace because time is clearly running out and fast. A settlement is likely to be imposed and it will not be pretty. Better Israel makes peace now before it`s too late. |
