In the U.S. the First Amendment--Protects The Public`s Right to Know. In Israel the "Law" of Occupation denies us that right.
Tonight ex-HCJ Judge Dalia Dorner, and Current President of the Israeli Press Council, told Haaretz in Hebrew ONLY: "Also Journalist must ABIDE by the Law... I am for Freedom of the Press, but if a Journalist breaks The Law [in order] to get a Scoop, why is he/she complaining if he/she is detained and interrogated?... If a journalist robs` he ought to be detained. The Journalist is not Above the Law".
