| Saddam Hussein did have weapons of mass destruction. The US and UN both knew Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Bumbling UN bureaucrats and US State Department bureaucrats gave Hussein several years to transfer his weapons of mass destruction to Syria and Iran. It was no secret that he moved tons of materials in civilian vegetable and dairy trucks. One of his own Air Force Generals publicly spoke of how Hussein used civilian airplanes to fly tons of weapons and lab equipment to Syria. Hussein had the weapons. The UN and US just wanted to give him time to send the material to Syria and Iran so he would not use them on US troops when they finally invaded. |
