As a Jew the Teitlebaums have the right to decide the manner in which their son is buried. Not recognising the Israeli claim that every Jew on the face of this earth falls under the Israeli flag does not necessarily equal hate towards the State. Indeed I suspect most Charedim will argue that that to drape an Israeli flag on an American citizen killed for being Jewish is uneccessarily hijacking a Jewish tragedy for political gains of dubious value.
The fact the terrorists don`t make the distinction is irrelevant. |
