Despite official sanctions, it is well known that German companies are among the most active in trading with Iran. Last week a conference was held in Hamburg entitled "Sanctions on Iran and their practical implications on German companies," with the clear intention of advising companies how to evade sanctions.
As a British Jew, whose father fought against the Nazis, I find it astounding that Germany of all nations should seek to collaborate with a country whose President`s explicit aim is to wipe Israel off the face of the map. Your country should be leading in the fight against Iranian nuclear ambitions, not abetting them. |
