President-elect Obama has been very clear, he wants talks with Iran BEFORE any other options are used.
He has already made his serious intent clear, he will not insist on any pre-conditions with Iran.
IF Israel were to launch a military strike against Iran this would seriously damage relations with the US at a critical time in the Middle East.
Obama is trying to deal with the `war on terror` legacy such as Guantanamo Bay, withdraw from Iraq and seek a solution to Afghanistan. Now is not the time to embarrass the Obama administration |
