That`s sort of the point, isn`t it? It took them such an incredibly long time to storm that building and rather than rush straight to the hostages, they played it safe and hung back for 13 hours of gunfight. No hostage has a chance under those circumstances. The commandos may have done their best, but there`s definitely a lot they should learn from this.
