I will always regard as decent people Muslims who are appalled by this kind of horrible terrorist attack and who reject terrorism, whether it is committed against non-Jews or against Jews, or against Israeli Jews.
The "enemy" are only those Muslims who celebrate when the attack is against westerners, or Jews, or Israelis, or Hindus, or Indians, or democrats, who support such terrorist activity, who give aid and comfort to the terrorists and buy weapons for them under cover of so-called "legitimate" charities, who teach children hatred of Jews and Christians and Hindus and Muslim sects different from their own, etc.
#1: the Indian commandos were faced by an almost impossible situation, and were able to save at least some Israelis (along with many other people) from one of the hotels. Nariman House. The commandos put their own lives on the line to try to rescue the hostages. Probably there will be post mortem analyses that will highlight the problems, and these will be remedied. |
