| this is an excellent question. bush, incessently criticised, has more vision than olmert. olmert does not understand that iran will never let syria make an independent decision. syria has become a satellite of iran. syria is not any different than were the east europeans during soviet times. the recent defence pact signed between iran and lebanon should be a wake up call to olmert. strategy cannot be determined in theory. it must be a matter of pragmatism. |
