I have never read anything like your post Gus, but I appreciate it more than you could know. My problem with Islam is the latitude it seems to offer the violent extremists who actually use the tenants of Islam to justify their actions. So far, I have never heard any Muslim leaders in the US speak out, or post in the newspapers, anything like what you said here. Thank you.
