| are you so sure that these are "radical islamists", cipora? or do you perceive EVERY muslim with a beef a "radical islamist"? was arafat a "radical islamist"? the plo? is hamas? al-qaeda?... ALL are terrorists... but only the last one bases its cause on "islam"...making IT the ONLY one whose members can "honestly" be called "radical islamists". and the ones in mumbai? the evidence so far points to their acts of terror NOT being based on islam, but rather on the "political" dispute over kashmir. the assumption, and subsequent labeling, of every terrorist group that rises among muslims as "radical islamists" is one of pure political expediency...which all to often, unfortunately, transcends the human conscience. |
