| You have to read into what Margie is really saying about Pfeiffer`s comments. My past arguments with her on this subject were summed up in her feelings that American Jews can send their cheques to Israel to offset their absence on the land and the sharing in the risks but with no comments, no opinions and especially no directives as to what the Israelis should be doing. In a nutshell, she wants the Americans to send the money but keep their comments to themselves as their contributions don`t give them any rights to decide anything in Israel and now with the noises coming out of the GA about how Israelis should be acting, it was too much. She is not alone in thinking that and this is perhaps why today`s Jewish diaspora youth is no longer that interested in Israel because it`s simply a place that wants their money. If it wouldn`t have been for those American Jews that she criticizes all the time, she wouldn`t have had an Israel to move to and she`s still be stuck in her native S.Africa. |
