| During the course of the 2006 war, Israel bombed all manner of civilian targets in Lebanon that had nothing to do with Hizbollah. This is not how to foster good relations with a neighbor. At that time, the Lebanese government and Hizbollah were not very friendly. Thanks to Israels actions during the war, Hizbollah got a larger stake in the government. In any case, it`s a good idea for a nation to have the defensive weapons necessary in case the neighbors go crazy again. |
