Obama`s top priority is restoring America`s strength at home. Nothing else comes anywhere near this on any "list" that might exist.
Israel`s persistent whining about Iran is way, way down and probably comes a little below the colour of the new carpets that will be installed in the White House.
Certainly, Israel can be totally sure that there will be no catastrophic war against Iran to maintain Israel`s cosy nuclear monopoly.
And Obama, through Robert Gates (who knows exactly what the Israelis have been thinking about), will make it totally clear to them that there won`t be a scrap of US help, should they try to mount their half-assed attack.
US jets patrolling the skies of Iraq will turn any Israeli attack force back at the border. |
