president-elect obama will face numerous challenges once he takes office. the two most important: 1, the dire economic situation in the us and worldwide. on the solution of this problem will depend the success of his administratio. 2, the grave crisis that is fueled by the islamic republic of iran. iran has been exporting radical islamic revolution ever since 1979. at present iran is sowing the seeds of terror in the middle east and in latin america. however, nothing compares to the potential threat posed by iran`s nuclear weapons program. israel is particularly threatened given iran`s obsession with destroying israel. however, israel is not the only one threatened. once iran masters the production of nuclear weapons and ballistic missile technology, it will be poised to proliferate elsewhere, including south america. indeed, given iran`s thirst for power, once it becomes fully nuclearised, it will proliferate. the iranian nuclear issue must be dealt with the utmost urgency. |
