| The problem for Israel is that Obama is a brilliant man. Self serving attempts by Israel to "counsel" him will be wasted, and, in fact, will make Israel look all the worse. Sadly, when two peoples are locked in endless war, the solution must come from outside. Claims by each party to have the "moral high ground" are worthless and predictable. Obamas early actions show that he is a man who will get things done in a hurry and not just things which are politically expedient. To Israel a "fair process" is far from desirable. Israel may be about to get a big dose of fairness for a change. |
