| Obama`s stated policy is for a two state resolution. He`s also on record that he won`t let the situation fester for 7 years as Bush did. If the two state resolution is killed off or the PA collapses, there is no point in aid to a Palestinian government. There won`t be one. All government and costs of government will then devolve to the occupying power. The only reason for US aid to the PA is the hope that two states will ultimately emerge. If they won`t, there is no reason for aid. |
