You know, I have actually heard that couple of times before. It`s kind of interesting. We as human beings value symmetry and immediately notice asymmetry. Islamic art for instance prizes proportions and symmetry above all. But for human faces I think it may be different because it would make the face seem unnatural if each half was a mirror image reflection of the other. At the same time too much asymmetry like a drooping eye would not be considered attractive.
