I`ve said the same thing before...while Israel is whining over the Palestinians and Iran, the real threat to Israel is right next door in the West Bank. The settlers could declare independence from Israel and fight to stay where they are, thereby starting a civil war which will bring Israel down no matter how many billions our country gives it. The true threat is internal, and Israeli politicians will regret the way they refused to confront the settlers before now; the IDF who stood watching as settlers attacked Palestinians will themselves be attacked by the settlers... |
