Why would anyone want a photograph that bears little resemblance to the real thing? It may well be marginally more appealing, but it won`t be YOU. Nor will anyone THINK it looks like you. I can understand (just about), photo editors tweaking the images of models (removing blemishes, lines, spots and moles, lengthening legs, trimming thighs, adding padding to bums - these things are done all the time. But why would ordinary people want such a device? It`s a clever but pointless invention.
(By the way, of the two photos of the pretty blonde on the Haaretz front page, I preferred the real thing, not the modified image.) |
