| I guess they could have caught a spy or two, but chances are they didn`t. 1. Economic situation in Iran is bad 2. Generally there`s disdain in the country for the government 3. Ahmedinejan is trying to save face domestically and what better way than diverting attention to easy Israel 4. Iranians are not stupid at all. Not sophisticated as the West, but absolutely not stupid. This could be a low-tech counter-intelligence tactic 5. They probably hanged some poor shmo who noone knows. The trick is you can`t trust that government. Check Ahmadinejan, he never looks you clearly in the eyes, always squinting.... I don`t believe the Iranian government |
