| Israel brought this situation on herself, not only by creating the illegal settler program and allowing it to grow unchecked since 1967, but also because during this colonisation the settlers were allowed to attack Palestinians and destroy their property and orchards while the IDF and Israeli police stood watching. Now, as you say, the chickens come home to roost. Israel has nurtured a "evil stepchild" which, like so many evil stepchildren, will turn and rend Israel itself, very likely causing civil war. Israel could face destruction by its violent thugs of settlers alone.. |
