| Wow, those two weeks of boundary-crossing closings must have really hurt the Gazans this time for them to suspend their Jihad and to let at least 15 dead militants go unavenged in exchange for being spoon-fed by UNRWA again. Hamas sure doesn`t sound as macho and demanding now as they did ten days ago. The lesson is clear: the seige worked in a surprisingly short period of time and if the Gazans resume offensive military operations again (like digging infiltration tunnels), it can be reimposed. I suppose that Hamas will spin it somehow and claim that they forced Israel to reopen the crossings, but everybody knows that the Gazans lost this round in spades. |
