| The idea of the fence was primarily as a means to make life uncomfortable for the Israelis living on the `other side`, to coerce them from their homes. A bit more sophisticated than burning a cross on the lawn, but a similar idea. Like the disengagement it is a tremendous waste of money that has not done anything much to improve Israel`s defensive standing. The wall destroys the environment, takes land from Palestinians and Jews alike for no purpose, and squanders valuable resources that could be used for other purposes. Chaim Ramon is good a forcing his `ideas` on people. He assaulted the country as if it were a young lady in his vicinity. |
