The Settlers are the darlings of the US "Christian" right in league with the AIPAC and kindred organizations in boosting "Greater Israel" expansionism at the expense of the Palestinians and of world peace.
Indeed at the expense of Israel itself, being seduced into bellicose religious deliriums fantasizing modern "Joshuas" re-conquering the "Caananites and Philistines". This delusion has cost America dearly in blood and treasure, scuttling its policies in Iraq and Afghanistan where her collusion with the OCCUPATION is an albatross around America`s neck, to her discredit, and her hurt. |
