| The High Court has the right to be obeyed, but that right is not without limits. Israel is first and foremost a Jewish state, meaning that no government agency can operate by principles that are repugnant to the core values of our faith. When the High Court casts aside the commandments and judgments of God, as it has done, and enters into rebellion against the Almighty, as it has done, and persecutes those who try to live their lives according to the laws of God, as it has done, and forces Israelis to choose between obeying the Court and obeying the Lord, because they can`t do both, then the Court cannot claim to be a legitimate judge of Jews, and faithful Jews are not obliged to obey its dictates. |
