| there are other clocks ticking, including the clock of the end of oil (60-100 years?) and the clock of the demographic shift in israel (the rise of the ultrareligious). these clocks may make the situation in israel very different in 50 years. It is possible that the next 50 will be the most difficult, but if the ultrareligious join the army and the economy, israel in 50 years could be in a much stronger position... |
